Teessiders are wanted for an “exciting” new reality show which will follow the lives of 19 to 23-year-olds in the North-east.
Lime Pictures, the company behind the likes of Geordie Shore and The Only Way Is Essex, is looking for “great characters born and raised in the North-east.”
As a result a casting day is set to take place at Boulevard Eight on Albert Road in Middlesbrough on Sunday, October 14, from noon until 7pm.
“The series will follow the lives of young people in the North, what they love doing and what they enjoy getting up to,” the description reads.
It adds: “Whilst we won’t exclude your application solely on the grounds of age, we are particularly keen to see applicants in the 19 to 23 years old age range.”
If you are interested in applying for the show, you can just turn up to the open audition – there’s no need to book an appointment.
Depending on numbers, it should only take around 30 minutes, and you should bring you passport or driver’s licence.
The news comes after the success of The Mighty Redcar – a four-part documentary series on BBC Two.
It followed the adventures of several young people as they make crucial decisions about their futures.
Filmed over a year, the BBC says the series is “both a nostalgic and very modern look at life in a northern town.”
And week-on-week it got rave reviews from both critics and viewers.
