A man was arrested after he was seen trying to flog professional medical equipment in the centre of Stockton .

Police are seeking the owner of the equipment, which was seized from a man trying to sell it on Stockton High Street at 2.30pm on Friday, October 6.

The 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.

He has been released under investigation, pending further inquiries.

Anyone with information – or who can identify themselves as the owner of the medical equipment – is asked to contact PC Russ Boon via the 101 number.
