The family of an alleged murder victim has paid tribute to the “beautiful” mum as police formally identify her.

Mother-of-five, Natalie Saunders was found dead at a semi-detached home on Tomlinson Way in Middlesbrough at the weekend.

Cleveland Police today confirmed that it was the 33-year-old who was found at the Brambles Farm property shortly before 9am on Sunday.

Her heartbroken family have now released her picture alongside a moving tribute.

They said in a statement: “Natalie was a loving daughter, sister and mother of five children.

“We are deeply heartbroken at this difficult time and ask for privacy to come to terms with what has happened.

A home on Tomlinson Way remained taped off and a police van was guarding the scene throughout Monday, while scenes of crime officers also attended.

Inquiries are still under way and detectives are appealing for anyone who may have heard a “noisy disturbance” on Saturday night to get in touch via the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 184664.
